OUT OF UNIFORM COPS APPROACH FIREFIGHT , GET SHOT, KILLED
| October 7, 2005 BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan – U.S. and Coalition forces are investigating an incident where four Afghan National Policemen were killed and another was wounded near Gereshk in the Helmand Province yesterday. Coalition forces were in contact with enemy forces when an unknown vehicle approached the area with five armed men inside. The men in the vehicle were ANP, however they were not in uniform. Coalition soldiers shot at their vehicle killing four of the individuals and wounding the other. Weblog LINK |
